Less than 30 Minutes to go for the Hard Fork
- Just a casual reminder that we will see fluctuations in the staking weight on the Explorer. This is expected and nothing to worry about.
- For Delegators using the Staking client, please Exit your node after the fork (If it is kept open at the time of the fork) and start it up again. After you restart it, you may still see your obsolete delegations. Click on the X next to it, it will show an error and on clicking ok, it will go away from the screen automatically without any transaction. Then you can delegate to your Superstaker
- Hydra Bridge has been temporarily disabled until after the hard fork

Hey everyone! A helpful tip post a Hard Fork for Node operators and delegators (anyone using the staking client). As always recommended, it is best to Exit and relaunch your staking clients (Restart) for smooth functioning and to ensure that all new elements are functioning properly. Also please ensure that your current block matches that of the explorer (to ensure that you are not in a hard fork)

π Protocol-Level Liquid Staking goes LIVE on Hydra Chain!
We are excited to announce that LYDRA was officially deployed on mainnet following a smooth hard fork! You can now mint and burn LYDRA directly from your staking client πThis is an important milestone for the Hydra ecosystem and we couldn't be more excited about the next steps.
Please note that all delegations became invalid as part of the fork, and therefore they need to be re-delegated. We recommend a re-start of your staking client before re-delegating. Thanks to the new and much more efficient delegation smart contract, the transaction fee for delegations has dropped by 90%. Meaning that it should now be in the ~1 HYDRA range.
β‘οΈ We are also happy to announce that the Hydra DEX was updated with the following changes:
- LYDRA can now be minted and burnt directly from the Hydra DEX interface, and through it is now also available inside the mobile wallet app!
- The staking smart contract was updated on the DEX, now using the new contract
Please note that it may take some time for the changes to propagate to the mobile apps due to sticky cache. If you want to speed up the process, you can clear your app cache in the device settings.
We advise to only use the DEX/Mobile App delegation interface for wallets that were not used for self-staking, as such could cause errors due to coinbase type of UTXOs. For wallets that did self-stake in the past, it is best to delegate and mint/burn LYDRA directly through the staking client.
π₯ LYDRA Trading Coming Soon!
Please note that the LYDRA/HYDRA pool is not live yet, as it is currently undergoing the approval process via the Hydra DAO. Make sure to cast your votes until July 13th. If approved by the community, the pool will go live shortly afterwards and trading LYDRA will become possible π
