We've just released version 0.20.9 which implements the previously mentioned protocol version bump together with other improvements.
The update is considered critical, because it automatically disconnects nodes which are lower than 0.207 version. The outdated nodes lack critical validation in place which is more effective of blocking manually constructed transactions with various corrupt outputs that end up getting stuck in their mempools.
This update also implements fixes for testnet clients which should finalize the testnet rollout of LYDRA.
